On March 24th, the press conference of 2014 ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge (ASC14,hereafter) with the theme of “Wisdom Unbound” was held in Beijing, announcing the top 16 final teams. As the supporting organizer of this competition, Ruijie Networks will provide high-quality networking equipment for this largest worldwide High Performance Computing (HPC) competition, assisting the organizer Inspur Group in cultivating HPC talents for China.

ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge is the largest worldwide college supercomputer challenge originated in Asia. The contest was founded in China, co-organized with the HPC experts and organizations in Japan, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries/regions, which is supported by the HPC experts and organizations in the United States, Europe, etc. Through this challenge, the ASC aims at promoting talent exchange and cultivation of young HPC talents among countries and enhancing the level of supercomputing applications and R&D capabilities to promote technological and industrial innovation with the driving force of HPC.
Ruijie Networks and Inspur not only form a strong alliance in the market and technical aspects, but also share the same vision on cultivating talents. Both have been committed to take corporate responsibility on long-term national talents cultivation.
