UM and Ruijie are working as the networking course training center in Malaysia and UM has developed networking courses based on the X-LAB solution provided by Ruijie. The X-LAB is a networking lab management system specially designed and developed by Ruijie for universities to carry out networking classes.
During this ceremony, Vice-Chancellor of UM, Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Ghauth Jasmon has pointed out that the first X-LAB in Malaysia will support both networking training and network-based research activities. This project will be valuable for the future internet engineering development in Malaysia.
