The Internet Innovation Union Establishment Conference & Internet Innovation Workshop hosted by the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education and co-hosted by Ruijie Networks and Tsinghua University was held in Tsinghua University on September 21, 2012.
Over 400 people from about 200 domestic and overseas colleges and universities were invited to the conference. The leaders of major departments like the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the EU Delegations attended the conference to express their congratulation. The Internet Innovative Union (hereinafter referred to as "the Union") is an official organization first established by the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education. It is committed to the sharing of Internet laboratory resources of colleges and universities nationwide, supporting the research and development on future Internet technologies and talent development. Based on the Dragon Lab Solutionprovided by Ruijie Networks, the Internet innovative platform realizes the interconnection and sharing of laboratory resources. Ruijie assists in the operation and maintenance of the entire platform. The establishment of the Internet innovation platform shows the concern of China about the Internet innovation in colleges and universities. The deepened involvement in platform construction reflects that Ruijie has a strong ability in independent innovation and a broad view of developments.
