Recently, in the 2010 China Telecom switches and routers centralized purchasing project, Ruijie Networks launched campus switches, corridor switches and mid and low-end switches at the same time for the first time. This effort made Ruijie data communication products enlisted by China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, the three major operators in China.
Among the bidders for the 2010 China Telecom switches and routers centralized purchasing project, there were 13 telecom equipment vendors, including many well known ones such as Huawei, ZTE, and Cisco, and the competition was very tense. In the end, only six or seven were enlisted. With years’ leading position and prominent comprehensive strength, Ruijie Networks out competed its rivals and won recognition of China Telecom in technology, commercialization, services and price and all the three packages were enlisted with very high overall scores of many equipment types.
Based in the industry market, Ruijie Networks in recent years has been actively involved in operators' IP network construction. With ICT, Ruijie has recorded deep cooperation with China Telecom. In 2009, Fujian Mobile built the Fujian e-government extranet and 54 provincial departments were connected to it with more than 1,200 Ruijie switches at all levels. In 2010, for the project of Games for University Students in Shenzhen, Ruijie won high recognition of Shenzhen with IPV6 based pure exchange MAN core solution, and the whole network used more than 100 high-end RG-S8600 series L3 switches.
