Especially in the support of IP, the RG-S8600 and RG-S9600 series support the network protocols Ipv4 and Ipv6, and can flexibly support technologies for transition from IPV4 to IPV6, like dual stack and tunneling technologies. In addition, it has complete support for unicast and multicast of IPV4 and IPV6, such as OSPFv2/v3, RIPng, BGP4/4+, IS-ISv4/v6, and PIM-SM/DM-SSM (v4/v6). The RG-S8600 series currently provides two models, namely 6-slot RG-S8606 and 10-slot RG-S8610.
