1.      AC Version: RGOS 11.9(5)B1 or later

1.      When APs in A series connect to WS6008 or WS6108, the APs need to be updated to RGOS 11.9(2)B2P4 or a later version.

1.      To support more STAs, an i-Share+ product needs to connect to a host in RGOS 11.9(4)B1 or a later version and an AC in AC_RGOS 11.9(5)B1 or a later version.

ID conversion example:

M04331405262018 indicates 2018-05-26, 04:33:14. The ID conversion rules are as follows:

*    Note

��        ID format: AABBCCDD

��        AA: Indicates the year. 2014 is the first year. 01 indicates the year 2014, 02 indicates the year 2015, and so on.

��        BB: Indicates the month. The value is the month plus 12. For example, for August (8), the displayed value is 20.

��        CC: Indicates the date. For example, 28 indicates the 28th day of the current month.

��        DD: Indicates the time in 24-hour system. For example, 16 indicates 4:00 p.m.

��        ID 05172604 indicates a version compiled at 4:00 a.m. on May 26, 2018.

1.2   Added IPv6 Information Parsing and Uploading for i-Share+ Products

Feature

In local forwarding scenarios, this new feature can use attribute 168 in RADIUS accounting start and accounting update packets to upload the IPv6 addresses of STAs.

Note: This feature requires an AC in RGOS 11.9(2)B2 or a later version.

Parsing in centralized forwarding requires an AC in RGOS 11.9(2)B2 or a later version and is irrelevant to the AP version.

 

1.3   Added eWeb Security Radar for i-Share+ Products

Feature

eWeb Security Radar

1.      This feature can monitor wireless network security in a visualized manner. It collects and classifies surrounding Wi-Fi networks, generates alarms for phishing Wi-Fi networks, allows containment and trust operations, and detects attacks and produces alarms.

1.      eWeb supports one-click containment configuration and one-click delivery of multiple containment configurations.

1.4   Added Blacklist/Whitelist Optimization in i-Share+ Products

Feature

1.      Based on MAC OUI whitelist, this feature can add terminal OUIs to a whitelist so that terminals with the same OUI can go online.

1.      This feature can generate a dynamic terminal blacklist based on a static terminal whitelist.

Note: This feature requires an AC in RGOS11.9(4)B1 or a later version.

1.5   Increased the Maximum Number of STAs for i-Share+ Products

Feature

The maximum number of supported STAs is increased for i-Share+ products.

An entire i-Share+ compact card supports up to 256 STAs, increased from 128 STAs.

For more STAs, an i-Share+ product needs to connect to a host in RGOS 11.9(4)B1 or a later version and an AC in AC_RGOS 11.9(5)B1 or a later version.

 

1.6   ARP Broadcast Isolation in MACC Scenarios

Feature

This feature supports ARP broadcast isolation in MACC scenarios.

9 Precautions

l  Before version upgrade or downgrade, run the show version command to confirm the current device version (initial version). Please select a proper upgrade/downgrade method based on the initial and target versions.

l  During the upgrade and downgrade, pay attention to the prompt messages. If failures occur, please save the log and contact us for technical assistance.

l  During the upgrade/downgrade, a prompt message will appear, indicating that a restart is not allowed. In this case, do not power off the device, reset the system, or plug in/unplug any module.

l  After the upgrade and downgrade, run the show version command to check the current device version. If it is the target version, the upgrade succeeds.
