The following are some tips for upgrading the RG-NBS5000 SeriesSwitches SWITCH_3.0(1)B11P54:
n During theupgrade and downgrade, pay attention to the prompt messages. If failures occur,please save the log and contact us for technical assistance.
n During theupgrade and downgrade, it is recommended you not power off or reset the system,or plug/unplug any module.
n Check theversion number after the upgrade/downgrade ineither of the following two ways:
1. Log into eWeb and check the version number in BasicInfo on the Home page.
2. Access shell via an SSH session and enter the ucishow sysinfo command.
Upgrade Steps
1. Connect the device to a PC and configure the PC with an IP addressin network 10.44.77.10/255.255.255.0.
2. Power on the device. After the system LED turns on, open the browserand enter 10.44.77.200 into the address bar.
3. Log into eWeb and complete wizard configuration.
4. Navigate to System > Upgrade > Local Upgrade,click Browse, select an upgrade file (e.g., SWITCH_3.0(1)B11P54_NBS5000_08181817.tar.gz) and click Upload.

After upgrade finishes, log in to eWeb to check the version number.

If you forget your password, press the Reset button on thepanel for 5 seconds, and the device will be restored to factory settings.Upgrade the device with the above steps.
