The following are some tips for upgradingthe RG-IS2700-P Series Switch:
n Using the web interface to upgrade the switchand can be accessed via web browser such as Opera, Mozilla, or InternetExplorer.
n During the upgrade, pay attention to the promptmessages. If failures occur, please save the log and contact us for technicalassistance.
n During the upgrade, it is recommended you notpower off or reset the system, or plug/unplug any module.
n After the upgrade, click Monitor->DeviceInformation to check the firmware version.
The procedure of upgrading the RG-IS2700-PSeries Switch is described as follows:
Step 1:
Connect the Ethernet port of switch to a PC, enter the IP address inyour browser's address bar and login to the Web user interface.
Step 2:
Click Tools->Upgrade Managerto enter the upgrade interface and select the HTTP upgrademethod, then select the upgrade file from your PC. Finally, click Upgradeand start to upgrade the switch.
Step 3:
The upgrade file will be uploaded to switch and the image file willbe wrote to flash by itself. After that, the Web interface will display theprompt information of Upgrade Image Success, and you need toclick Reboot to restart the switch.
Step 4:
During the reboot process, it isrecommended you not power off the system. When the Web Login interface appears,the switch system upgrades to version 1.00.01. You can click Monitor->DeviceInformation to check the firmware version.
