Supporting Portal Customization on the EG
| Description | Portals can be synchronized from Ruijie Cloud to the EG. So, portal customization can be operated on the EG. 1. To apply Portals synchronized from the Cloud, you need to specify their usage when configuring authentication policies via the Web UI for the EG. 2. When configuring authentication policies, you can choose either a local Portal or a Portal synchronized from Ruijie Cloud. If you choose the former, local accounts are required for authentication. Because using Cloud accounts leads to failed synchronization of authentication status to the Cloud while terminals still access the Internet services. If a Portal from the Cloud is applied, only Cloud accounts are allowed to be used. Otherwise, no access to the Internet is granted for terminals. |

The following are some tips for upgradingthe RG-EG RGOS 11.9(1)B11S2:
n For vouchers and accounts obtained from the Cloud, if flow control is enabled on the local EG, the speed limit on Cloud will not take effect; otherwise, the Cloud speed limit is supported.
n Online period and times limits are not supported for one-click authentication.
n Up to 200 vouchers + accounts are supported on EG2100-P, 1500 on EG3250, 10,000 on EG3000UE, and 15,000 on EG3000XE.
n Make sure the to-be-updated hardware issupported.
n Upgrade can be operated via either the Web UI orthe Main program.
n Integration with the EG is supported on RuijieCloud V2.4 or later.
n Use the show version command to check thefirmware after the upgrade.
