Built in August, 2000 and officially opened on August 05, 2004, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of the three major airports in China. It is located in the junction between Renhe Town of Baiyun District and Huadong Town and Xinhua street of Huadu District. There are highways directly to and from the airport. The aircraft movement area reference code of the airport is 4F, the annual passenger throughput is 80 million person-times, and the annual cargo and mail throughput is 2.5 million tons. The passenger experience of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is frequently studied by the Airport Council International (ACI) and other airports in China.
