(Kuala Lumpur, 28 August, 2015) Ruijie Networks succeeded in providing Wi-Fi service for the 40th Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) Meeting, a large-scale international event held in University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during August 10 to 14.
APAN is a not-for-profit association with hundreds members whom are the entities representing research and education network interests in the countries of Asia and Oceania. During the 40th APAN Meeting, more than 400 researchers and experts from worldwide attended and shared trends and views on IoT, IPv6, Cloud, etc.
As the event’s exclusive Wi-Fi service provider, Ruijie’s wirelesss and authentication solutions supported the high-density scenario during opening ceremony. There are 400++ concurrent users enjoy the high-speed and reliable wireless service with only 3 APs (RG-AP530-I) in the auditorium. AP530-I is the latest generation 802.11n/ac AP, equipped with the Ruijie’s Patent X-Sense Smart Antenna technology, realizing full coverage based on 16.77 million signal paths, and supporting up to 300 concurrent users.

Ruijie also deployed the authentication system (RG-SAM+) during the event. All guests could be easily and secured authenticated throughout either scanning QR code, or simply entering an invitation code.

During the event week, more than 10 sessions of seminar/workshop were held in 2 buildings in parallel. There are 19 indoor APs and 1 outdoor AP, together with Ruijie’s high-end core switch N18K, network management system SNC, authentication system SAM+, application control engine ACE, and other featured devices were deployed. We managed to ensure the best user experience for all event guests and successfully showcase the latest Simplistic Campus Solutions through this live event.
