Ruijie and University of Malaya (UM) are pleased to invite you to a seminar on ‘Mobile Internet Era, Simplistic Campus Network’ to be held on Tuesday, August 11th 2015 (14:00-18:00) at Auditorium, Institute of Postgraduate Studies in University of Malaya.


In this Mobile Internet era, while we embracing the convenience brought by wireless, challenges from the unified management of wired/ wireless networks, rocketing user capacity, versatile applications, security/authentication, and bandwidth constraint are coming in waves. These will bring heavy pressure on network planning, implementation, operation management and service optimization, etc.


In this seminar, experts from Ruijie, University of Malaya, and JiMei University (China) will introduce their successful experiences benefited from Simplistic Campus Network Solution, as well as how to improve campus wireless service. Topics will be shared as following:
 

  1. Introduce Ruijie Simplistic Campus Solution, the latest evolutionary solution that has already been adopted and proven by a great number of Chinese top-tier universities. We will also share the findings that we have collected from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand well established Universities.  More technical details will focus on architecture, core network, authentication, wireless products, operation & management, egress optimization, etc., demo area is also available.
  2. Case study and experience sharing given by University of Malaya, introduce UM’s recent efforts on wireless architecture and authentication upgrading.
  3. Case study and experience sharing given by JiMei University, introduce the very dominant win-win ISPs cooperation business model and technical solution in China, enabling them obtain 44G extra bandwidth for free! Moreover, their insights and best practices on mobile applications and services will also be introduced.
